NN Chief Executive and founder has been honoured in the 2010 Queen's Birthday Honours List
The Norfolk Network is delighted to announce that their Chief Executive and founder has been honoured in the 2010 Queen's Birthday Honours List with the 'Queens Award for Enterprise Promotion'.
The Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion (QAEP) celebrates and recognises the activities of individuals who have played an outstanding and significant role in promoting enterprise skills and attitudes in others in the UK. This award is given to no more than 10 inspiring individuals each year nationally.
Bev Hurley, whose vision led to the creation and success of the Norfolk Network is thrilled to be honoured by the Queen. This acknowledges the outstanding work she delivers not only locally, but national enterprise support through YTKO, and the Enterprising Women Network, as well as her personal mentoring to many individuals and businesses over the years.
Lucy Marks, Development Director for Norfolk Network says:
"This award is testimony to the passion and drive that Bev has for enterprise, and the team here at the NN are especially proud of her. I'm sure I can speak on behalf of our members to congratulate her, and say that this recognition by Her Majesty's Award for Enterprise Promotion is extremely well deserved."
Bev will of course be with us for our next event with Price Bailey on 28th April, where we will no doubt be now be having an extra buzzy evening! Register now at www.norfolknetwork.com/april
