EDP BUSINESS GUIDE 2010 AND TOP 75 LAUNCHED

9 Jun 2010

The Business Guide, now in its sixth year, provides a league table of the region's top 75 companies

East Anglia is an economic region packed with professional and progressive firms making their mark on the world stage.

But the future will be a challenge.

If businesses in the region are to have a fighting chance the A11 needs to be dualled, there needs to be a faster rail link from London to East Anglia, mobile phone coverage and broadband networks need to be upgraded.

That was the message of Dr Andy Wood, chief executive of Adnams, who was speaking at the launch of the EDP's 2010 Business Guide and Top 75 yesterday morning.

The Business Guide, now in its sixth year, provides a league table of the region's top 75 companies by turnover, a sector by sector analysis of the region's industries and overview of the area's economy.

This year, for the first time, it now has a dedicated mircosite at www.edp24.co.uk/businessguide, due to go live today.
