Background
Norfolk and Suffolk submitted a proposal to the Government to set up a local enterprise partnership for the two counties.
The proposal, which was developed by business leaders and local authority partners, was to help create a dynamic and responsive business-led partnership that will drive change to Norfolk and Suffolk.
It follows the Government’s announcement it would be scrapping regional development agencies and encouraging local areas to bring forward proposals for Local Enterprise Partnership.
The New Anglia LEP provides a unique and exciting opportunity to reshape our economic landscape at a challenging time for the UK economy.
